About Edna - Art by the Sea

Hi, I'm Edna Shalev, a self-taught artist whose journey has been shaped by the endless beauty of the sea and the natural landscapes around it.

My sketches capture moments of serenity and connection with nature, translating the peace and energy of coastal scenes into drawings.

After three years of traveling across the world and searching for the right place to call home, we recently found our haven—a house close to the sea in Greece.

Here, I am constantly inspired by the rhythm of the waves, the changing colors of the sky, and the quiet moments by the water.

This little Greek village in the eastern Peloponnese fuels my creativity and serves as a perfect backdrop for my art.

My journey has been marked by exploration and discovery.

Each destination I visited added a new layer of perspective and inspiration — from lush forests and rugged coastlines to remote villages and bustling cityscapes.

Now, settled in my Greek seaside home, I find joy in creating art that reflects the natural world I’ve seen and the peaceful life I’m building.
